Brittany Cartwright has revealed that her relationship with her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, is still very rocky.
The Valley star opened up about the status of their separation during a recent episode of the Nikki and Brie Show.
“I feel like I’m personally in a better place now. Like, I feel it helped me be stronger in a weird way. I always say it helped hold me accountable because it was on TV [with] the whole world judging you. I feel like I hold a mirror up to myself and I’m like, ‘I can never go back.’ But with me and Jax, it’s just a roller coaster. It’s always up and down,” she explained.
The former couple is no longer living together, and Brittany has been granted full custody of their son, Cruz.
During last week’s episode of the show, Brittany revealed that Jax had stopped paying the mortgage on their joint home, owing close to $100,000 in back payments.
“He’s in this phase right now where he’s like, ‘Please stop talking about me, stop talking about me,'” she continued. “And I’m like, ‘Again, you did all this stuff when you knew the cameras were around, so I have to talk about it, you know? And I don’t want to be silenced ever, so I’m going to speak my truth.”
