This week, Drake’s interview with popular podcaster Bobbi Altoff was stealthily removed from Bobbi’s social media pages, and many were wondering … WHY?
Well Media Take Out has the EXCLUSIVE reason why … and it shows just how much of a master of manipulation Drake is.
At first people suspected that there was some sort of issue between Bobbi and Drake. As Media Take Out reported, some were even suspicious that Bobbi’s husband may have been upset with the flirtatious nature of the interview.
But it turns out that it was Drake – who pulled the ultimate prank on Bobbi.
During the interview, Bobbi pretended to not know who Tyga was. So Drake pulled out his phone and played one of Tyra’s hit songs “Rack City.”
Bobbi listened to the song, during her podcast, and then disrespectfully said that she “never heard it.”
After the podcast went live, Media Take Out learned that Drake’s team reached out to Universal Music Group, which owns the rights to Tyra’s song Rack City …. and they issued a copyright strike against Bobbi’s podcast.
Under the terms that Youtube has with Universal Music, Media Take Out confirmed, ALL of the proceeds from the podcast would have to be turned over to Universal Music – or Bobbi would be facing a pretty big lawsuit. The podcast has already been viewed more than a million times.
So Bobbi’s team, realizing that they would not be able to monetize their biggest podcast in history, decided to pull the podcast – instead of handing over the money from it to Universal Music.
