The Game and 50 Cent have beefed for almost two decades, but the West Coast rapper knows he could not celebrate the anniversary of his 2005 album The Documentary without giving 50 Cent his props.
The Game celebrated the 18th anniversary of the album on Instagram.
“18 years ago today…. A hip hop classic was born. All I wanted to do was tell my story & make sure my son would never live the life I did,” he wrote.
“@snoopdogg passed me the torch, @bustarhymes kept me focused… @drdre laid the foundation & @50cent helped put the puzzle together. I took [photographer] @jonathanmannion to the depths of Compton, California & showed him the heart of what I survived. He captured the essence of my city, my hood & brought to the world my vision. Always remember, it is no longer a dream once it becomes reality,” he added.
The Game and 50 have still not patched up their relationship and this will unlikely put an end to the beef as 50 knows too well how to hold onto a grudge.
