The Game is still #TeamDrake and in a recent sitdown with Complex, he talked about Drake’s impact on the culture and how things have been quiet since his beef with Kendrick Lamar.

In a recent interview, the Compton rapper shared his view that the culture has shifted during Drake’s quieter stretch. He previously wrote, “Y’all ain’t appreciate one of the greatest now the absence & silence has the art form down 50%.”

He continued, “You walk in the clubs, everybody on their phone, nobody looks like they’re having a good time no more. If you walked in the club today, what song would make you happy about being there right now?”

“Yeat gonna come on and turn y’all up? He gonna turn y’all section up? And I’m not s-–ttin’ on Yeat; I’m sayin’ this is why Drake needs to go up,” he said.

The Game continued, “This s-–t is sad without Drake in the club. It’s sad, bro.”

He also suggested Drake may be stepping back after feeling underappreciated.

“We got Drake out here feeling like we didn’t appreciate him,” he said. “He should never feel that way.”

Drake has remained active in recent months and is preparing to release his upcoming album, ICEMAN, on May 15.
