Bryan Abasolo, who met his wife Rachel Lindsay on a season of “The Bachelorette” has filed for divorce after four years of marriage.
Abasolo listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for his split from Lindsay on Sunday’s filing.
“After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew,” Abasolo said in a statement posted to his Instagram page. “Sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go.”
Abasolo also wrote. “My parents have been married forever and I’m a family man, but sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go. I wanted you to hear it from the source before the blogs start making up their own reality.”
His estranged wife has not released a statement addressing the divorce filing.
The couple tied the know in 2017 after meeting on the show in 2017. They do not have any children together.
