A Los Angeles jury has found former “That ’70s Show” actor Danny Masterson guilty of two counts of forcible rape in his rape retrial.
The third count against Jane Doe 3 has been declared a mistrial.
The actor and Scientologist pleaded not guilty to three counts of felony rape after three women stepped forward to claim that he raped them between 2001 and 2003.
In December, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge declared a mistrial because the jurors were unable to come to a decision and were deadlocked.
“While we are disappointed with the outcome in this trial, we thank the jurors for their service,” the district attorney’s office said in a statement. “We also want to give our heartfelt appreciation to the victims for bravely stepping forward and recounting their harrowing experiences.”
Masterson now faces up to 30 years to life in prison. A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 4. He remains in custody.
