While chemistry sparkled during production, Cooper revealed he waited until filming wrapped to officially ask Nico to be his girlfriend during a special trip to New York City:
“We didn’t officially start dating until a few weeks after filming, when she came to New York to meet my mom [costume designer Mimi O’Donnell], and I asked her to be my girlfriend. It was very sweet.”
