The firm, Glancy Prongay & Murray LLP, made a press announcement yesterday announcing their investigation of Digital Media Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: DMS) concerning the Company and its directors’ and officers’ possible violations of state laws, Media Take Out confirmed.
The attorneys told the public that if they own Digital Media Solutions stock, to contact them and take part in the potential lawsuit.
Luis’ company is publicly traded, and the stock has been taking a battering. It dropped from a high of $3.44 last year, to only 62 cents now.
So what is this lawsuit about?
Several people have sued Luis and his company, Digital Media Solutions, in the past – over allegedly illegal practices.
According to three complaints filed throughout 2021, which Media Take Out viewed, Luis’ digital advertising company was accused of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
According to legal experts, the law “restricts telemarketing certain phone calls, text messages, and facsimiles. It also places restrictions on the use of automatic dialing systems and artificial or prerecorded voice messages.
