The Real Housewives of New Jersey is finally preparing to film Season 15, but according to one insider, the upcoming season may revolve almost entirely around Teresa Giudice.
A source told Reality Blurb that producers are planning a season centered on Teresa and her family, including daughter Gia Giudice’s new restaurant venture.
“It’s going to be the Teresa show,” the insider claimed. “It will be based all around her and the restaurant her daughter, Gia, is opening.”
The source also alleged that the show’s lead producer has a long history with Teresa.
“The head producer of the show is ‘Team Teresa Giudice,’ ” the insider said. “He was Teresa’s producer back in the day.”
The claims come after longtime cast member Margaret Josephs announced she would not be returning for the new season and, according to the source, Bravo may have been better off giving Teresa her own series instead.
“It would have made sense to give Teresa a spin-off show,” the insider said.
Season 15 is expected to include Teresa, Melissa Gorga, and Dolores Catania, alongside newcomers Xiomara Laracuente, Juliette Collazo, Natia Rufolo, Vanessa Barrera, and Deeba Patel but the source questioned whether the new cast dynamic will work.
“We don’t know them,” the insider said of the new Housewives. “Even if the new girls fight, who cares?”
The source also claimed the new women have few real-life ties to the returning cast, raising concerns that the season may not feel authentic.
