Amid reports that Bravo is considering a total cast overhaul, reports now suggest that Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, will agree to end their long-running feud for the sake of the show.
“This is not about mending broken hearts or repairing their shattered relationship. Nope, it’s all about business,” an insider told Life & Style. “The show’s future is hanging by a thread. If Teresa and Melissa don’t bury the hatchet, the entire franchise could come crashing down.”
The source added, “Let’s be real. They can’t stand each other, but they’re smart enough to know they have to work together if they want to keep those paychecks rolling in!”
Earlier this month, it was revealed that The Real Housewives of New Jersey will be placed on a brief hiatus until producers figure out who they want to axe from the show.
“Filming will likely not resume until 2025,” an insider told Daily Mail at the time. “There are not going to be any decisions about what will or won’t happen with the show until early next year. There is not going to be any more filming of RHONJ for the remainder of the year. There’s nothing planned. It’s on ice.”
The recent season pulled in some of the show’s lowest rated episodes in its history.
