Tekashi 6ix9ine is already planning a party for Lil Durk, but only if the Chicago rapper is convicted in his federal murder-for-hire case.
During a livestream with DJ Akademiks, 6ix9ine said he wants to throw a “Lil Durk Going Away Party” if Durk is found guilty.
“When this n—a get found guilty, you coming to my party?” 6ix9ine asked Akademiks.
The comment came as Durk, whose legal name is Durk Banks, remains on trial in Los Angeles. He has pleaded not guilty.
The case has included testimony from Kacey “OTF Jam” Hester, a cooperating witness who said Durk promised between $500,000 and $1 million for the killing of Quando Rondo.
Hester, who has been identified as one of three masked gunmen involved in the 2022 shooting that killed Rondo’s cousin Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson, described the attack as “sloppy.”
“I wasn’t feeling good about it at all,” Hester testified and also revealed his decision to cooperate with prosecutors.
“I had to get it off my chest. It was weighing on me,” he told jurors.
Despite testifying against Durk, Hester said he still has “a lot of love for him,” but added, “I just got no respect for him.”
Federal prosecutors allege Durk orchestrated the attack as retaliation for King Von’s 2020 death.
