The “GUMMO” rapper was arrested in 2018 on charges of racketeering and conspiracy to commit murder and was hit with racketeering, drug trafficking and weapons charges. The rapper accepted a plea deal and received a shorter sentence and early release after snitching on other members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang.
Since his release, the rapper has faced jail in the Dominican Republic following allegations of assault and domestic violence.
Judge Paul A. Engelmayer has ordered that the rapper be detained for at least two weeks for his “pattern of noncompliance.”
6ix9ine’s next hearing is scheduled for Nov. 12.
