Teen Mom star lost custody of her 4-year-old son Jack after a three-year court battle with her baby daddy Andrew Glennon.
Glennon was granted sole legal and physical custody of their son. Amber’s son will now have to move from California to Indiana.
After the devasting news, Amber went on Instagram Live to tell her fans she is staying “positive” and will “fight this.”
“Amber’s shocked by the judge’s ruling,” a source told PEOPLE. “She loves her son more than anything and has always tried to be the best mother to him. She’s not perfect, but this was a really dramatic thing to happen.”
The insider adds she is now “contemplating what options she has to fight this,” and “She’s continuing to go to therapy to better herself and has done this consistently for three years straight.”
In 2019, Amber was charged with domestic battery, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon and domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old.
