Teen Charged In Murder Of Philly Rapper YBC Dul

Lyndon Abioye |

Prosecutors have charged a 16-year-old male with the shooting of 25-year-old YBC Dul, real name, Abdul Vicks in broad daylight on a North Philadelphia street last month.

The rapper was affiliated with the gang Young Bag Chasers (YBC), and the law enforcement believes he was the ringleader of the gang. Vicks was shot multiple times in the chest and right hand. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The teen has also reportedly been linked to several other shootings in Philadelphia.

D.A. Krasner revealed the teen is charged with the killing of two and the wounding of others as part of a “shooting group” known as “Fast Break.” Larry Krasner said, “A small group of young people in the City of Philadelphia decided to hold a gun, to point a gun at another human being and pull the trigger.”

In February, the rapper went viral after he posted a video to social media showing himself digging up the grave of one of his opps.

Vicks was born on July 5th, 1999. He released his first single, ‘Criminal‘, on April 29, 2022, but was more known for his disrespectful tactics against his opps, hence his other moniker, “Mr Disrespectful.”
