Taylor Frankie Paul’s Pulled Bachelorette Season Reportedly Returning This Summer

Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of The Bachelorette may still be heading to television months after ABC halted the series following controversy surrounding the reality star.

Bachelor franchise spoiler blogger Reality Steve claimed this week that the season is expected to air on ABC this summer despite earlier uncertainty about its future.

“According to my sources, it is going to air,” Reality Steve said in an Instagram video shared Monday. “And not only that, it’s not getting dumped on a streamer. It’s gonna air on ABC this summer.”

The longtime Bachelor insider said he does not know the premiere date but speculated the official announcement could arrive during Disney and ABC’s Upfront presentation on May 12.

Paul’s season was originally set to debut on March 22 before ABC pulled the show days ahead of its release. The decision came after TMZ published previously unseen footage that appeared to show an altercation between Paul and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, in 2023.

“At this time, our focus is on supporting the family,” a Disney Entertainment spokesperson said in a statement to TMZ following the network’s decision.

Police departments in Draper and West Jordan, Utah, later launched domestic violence investigations tied to alleged incidents involving Paul and Mortensen earlier this year. In April, however, the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office announced it would not pursue charges against Paul.

ABC has not publicly confirmed whether the season will officially return to its summer lineup.
