Taylor Frankie Paul announced that she is walking away from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives after previously planning to return for Season 6.
The reality star announced her decision on Instagram, saying she no longer wanted to move forward amid ongoing legal issues and growing conflict with her castmates.
“My gratitude goes out to all the networks that supported me throughout this and gave me the chance to return,” Paul wrote. “However I don’t desire to move forward like this.”
She also accused some of her fellow cast members of participating in a “pile on,” adding, “Laughing about my kids is disgusting.”
The decision comes after reports that Paul allegedly failed a court-ordered drug test amid separate custody disputes with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen, with whom she shares a son, and ex-husband Tate Paul, with whom she shares two children.
Paul did not address the drug test allegations in her post.
Back in March, production paused amid a police investigation into domestic violence allegations involving Paul and Mortensen. Both later received mutual restraining orders, but neither faced charges.
Paul said she had initially been willing to leave the Hulu series so the rest of the cast could continue filming with less stress.
“I’m back to that point,” she wrote, adding that she is “relieved” to be “out.”
