The feud between Papoose, his girlfriend, boxer Claressa Shields, and his estranged wife, Remy Ma, dominated social media and headlines last week, and it has since taken another turn.
Over the weekend, a recent interview surfaced showing Tapanga claiming that she slept with Papoose while Remy Ma was in prison, including after Remy and Papoose got married in 2008.
Asked directly in a recent interview whether she had ever had sex with Papoose, Tapanga did not hesitate.
“Yes,” she said. “The f–k? What else I say? What you want me to do?”
Tapanga also disputed Papoose’s reported claim that he never knew her.
“He said he never knew me,” she continued. “I don’t hear what he said. He trying to secure his bag.”
According to Tapanga, their involvement was not limited to one period. She claimed it stretched from before Remy’s incarceration through the years Remy was behind bars and beyond.
“This was all during, like, before she even got… I got locked up, and she got locked up, and after,” said Tapanga.
Remy and Papoose married in 2008 while Remy was serving her sentence. When the interviewer asked whether Tapanga was still involved with Papoose after that marriage, she answered, “Yes. No, not now. Talking about when they got married in jail? Yes.” Tapanga said she was dealing with her own legal troubles at the time and spent part of that period outside custody on electronic monitoring.
“I was out first on a bracelet,” she added. “I went to jail, I came out, then I went back and did the sentence.”
She also claimed she was the one who ended their relationship.
“Because I left him alone when I started messing with this dude.”
Papoose has denied knowing Tapanga, according to the interview but Remy has previously claimed that the rapper has cheated on her in the past and that she’s even fought with his side pieces.
Tapanga has also spoken out about Papoose in the past.
