A preview of the upcoming second season of “The Braxtons” has dropped, and in the clip, Tamar Braxton is seen calling out her big sister, Toni Braxton, for allegedly trying to “shut down her business.”
Last year, the sisters found themselves at the center of controversy after their niece, Ashlee Braxton, claimed that one of her aunts cut ties with her after receiving an inappropriate text message from Ashlee’s ex-husband when she was just 16 years old.
Shortly after, Tamar announced she would have Ashlee join her podcast and in the clip, Tamar insists it was Toni’s idea, a claim that came after Tamar revealed she had been sent a cease and desist letter.
“Sending a cease and desist, shutting down my business! Exhibit B, the cease and desist!” Tamar exclaims in the clip.
Both Towanda Braxton and Trina Braxton deny any involvement, with Trina doubling down in her green screen interview.
Tamar pushes on, insisting, “I got a cease and desist before Ashley was on my podcast. I didn’t even say anything!”
Feeling unsupported by her sisters, Tamar calls them out.
“So you gon sit there and say Toni Braxton doesn’t care about you? Toni Braxton ain’t never have your back?” Toni demands.
Tamar responds bluntly: “You didn’t have my back!”
Toni snaps back, “I’m a heavyweight. Don’t f–k with me, Tamar! Don’t f–k with Toni Braxton!”
“And then when Toni said we need to have her on the show…” Tamar yelled, which led to an instant denial from Toni. Towards the end of the clip, Toni is seen getting out of her seat to confront Tamar.
