WeTV reality show Braxton Family Matters returned to our screens this month and even though fans are excited, Tamar Braxton says she regrets filming the show.
“JR means the world to me… thank God for him… my husband and my children has saved my life!!!! But, I’m so mad at my life… my family is TOXIC!!! I should have NEVER went back to BFV!! NEVER!!!” the singer tweeted, adding in a separate tweet that she is “single and sad” and that she is “going through it.”
According to Tamar, there has been a lot of fighting and gaslighting behind the scenes. She says she hopes that her “marriage” can be healed and that her family is “awful.”
Tamar also told her fans that she is going “back into treatment.”
After the tweets, she deleted her social media.
In 2020, Tamar sought treatment after attempting to take her own life during her tumultuous relationship with then-fiancee David Adefeso.
“I didn’t want to continue being a disappointment for him,” she told PEOPLE in 2021. “How can his friends’ parents respect me if this is what they see every day? I wouldn’t let my kid go over to a child’s house if this is what was portrayed on television. In my sickness, I thought that if I can take the embarrassment out of his life, maybe he would have a chance to have the best life.”
