Yesterday the entire hip hop world said goodbye to Takeoff, the fallen member of the popular hip hop group The Migos – and just about every star in the world was in attendance, Media Take Out has learned.
It was a beautiful and touching service, which was classy yet incredibly sad. Media Take Out was in attendance, and organizers asked all members of the media to refrain from taking pictures and video at the event.
So we don’t have any official video or pictures from the service. But many were posted on Twitter
Here’s some video from the event.

Takeoff was an American rapper. He was best known as a member of the hip hop trio Migos along with his uncle Quavo and first cousin once removed Offset. The group scored multiple top ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100 including “MotorSport” featuring Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, “Stir Fry”, “Walk It Talk It” featuring Drake, and “Bad and Boujee” featuring Lil Uzi Vert, the latter of which peaked at the top of the chart (although Takeoff was not present on the single). He also received two Grammy Award nominations. On November 1, 2022, Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston, Texas.
