Patrick Xavier Clark, the man accused of killing Migos rapper Takeoff had his $2 million bond reduced. Clark asked the judge to lower the bond to $100,000. The judge refused, but did reduce it to $1 million and it could be reduced again.
In court, the judge said he believed Clark may be a flight risk and wanted to look into his personal finances. State District Judge Josh Hill Clark’s “Google searches for fake tickets cause me a great deal of concern.”
Clark must also wear a GPS monitor that would immediately alert the court if bond conditions are violated.
Takeoff was shot in the head and back at a private party at abowling alley around 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 1 after a disagreement over a game of dice outside the bowling alley. Takeoff was an innocent bystander who got hit by a stray bullet.
Clark denies shooting and killing Takeoff.
