T.J. Holmes has filed for divorce from Marilee Fiebig after nearly 13 years of marriage.
The filing comes weeks after he was caught having an affair with his GMA3 co-host, Amy Robach. The pair was married in March 2010, and share 9-year-old daughter Sabine.
Amy and T.J. were pulled off the air after their affair made headlines.
ABC News President Kim Godwin told her editorial staff following the scandal.
“It’s become an internal and an external distraction, the relationship between two of our colleagues,” Godwin said. “While the relationship is not a violation of company policies, I have taken the last few days to think through what I think is best for our organization. For now, I’m going to take Amy and T.J. off the air while we figure this out.”
Amy and T.J. are reportedly still very much together. The couple will “remain off-air pending the completion of an internal review” with a rotation of anchors filling in on the program.
