T.I. and Tiny Harris are asking for a judge to grant them close to $165,000 in connection with Sabrina Peterson’s defamation lawsuit.
According to Radar Online, the Harrises claim they spent that amount in legal fees fighting her in court.
“The Harrises’ request for $164,650.56 in attorneys’ fees and costs is reasonable and in line with fee awards regularly affirmed in this district,” the filing reads. “Given the complexity of the legal issues, the time necessary to adjudicate Peterson’s seven causes of action over a two-year period, and the additional costs of appeal, the amount requested should be awarded in full.”
Sabrina accused T.I. of pulling a gun on her back in January. Soon after, dozens of women stepped forward and accused the rapper and his wife of drugging, trafficking and sexually abusing them.
They released a statement denying the allegations.
“Mr. and Mrs. Harris want to be on record and more importantly want the public to know they emphatically deny in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations being made against them by Sabrina Peterson. The Harrises have had difficulty with this woman for well over a decade. They are taking this matter very seriously, and if these allegations don’t end, they will take appropriate legal action,” the statement read.
After filing for a dismissal, some of Peterson’s claims were dismissed but not all.
