T.I’s son King Harris has responded to backlash after he went viral for paying a homeless man $50 to partake in the “one chip challenge.”

“Out of All the times the internet tried to tear me down …. I held my spot down head up through it all and came out smiling on top 👑💯 Shout out to my REAL supporters and fans for never switching up on me 💙” he captioned a series of pictures of himself looking unbothered.

Harris and his crew challenged a homeless man to do the “one chip challenge,” which includes eating an extremely spicy Paqui tortilla chip without drinking any water.

As the man struggled with the heat, Harris laughed on.

Paqui, a subsidiary of The Hershey Company, announced it would be pulling its ‘One Chip Challenge’ from shelves following the death of a 14-year-old Massachusetts teen, Harris Wolobah. Paqui issued a statement stating that the ‘One Chip Challenge’ is exclusively intended for adults and should not be used by children, those sensitive to spicy foods, individuals with food allergies, underlying health conditions, or who are pregnant.
