Sydney Sweeney is responding to criticism of her nearly nude sports betting campaign by appearing topless in another advertisement.
The 29-year-old Euphoria star shared the latest Novig promotion on Instagram Sunday, wearing white branded underwear and covering her chest with two footballs.
“There are grown men making spreadsheets to bet on what color underwear I’m wearing,” Sweeney said. “I mean, I’m flattered,” also slamming gambling involving political events and international disputes.
At the end of the post, Sweeney notes, “Novig is just sports.”
The advertisement follows a September campaign that featured Sweeney posing nude behind athletic equipment, which led to major backlash on social media as well as from female athletes.
Sharon Stone also weighed in, arguing that Sweeney should take responsibility for her decisions.
“It is up to me to be a cheerleader for the women who have made it through and become champions in women’s sports,” Stone told PEOPLE.
Sweeney, now a strategy partner and equity holder at Novig, has maintained that the ads are meant to be playful.
Meanwhile, the actress, who is currently dating Scooter Braun, has faced speculation about an alleged rift with Euphoria costar Zendaya. Insiders report the beef could stem from Sweeney allegedly being MAGA and supporting Trump, whom Zendaya isn’t very keen on.
