Sutton Stracke is pushing back after Amanda Frances claimed that Sutton’s former assistant, Avi Gabay, threatened to reveal damaging information about her on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Speaking on the After Show following the January 15 episode, Sutton questioned why the topic was raised at all. “I don’t know why Amanda is so interested in this,” she said. “There’s so much more to me that’s interesting than gossip about a former employee.”
Amanda later explained that she shared the comment because Sutton did not yet know her and may have questioned her intentions. Kyle Richards backed that reasoning, saying she encouraged honesty because withholding information could feel worse. “If I heard something like that and didn’t say anything, it would feel wrong,” Kyle noted.
Not everyone agreed. Jennifer Tilly suggested Amanda may have been looking for a reaction, while Sutton added that the issue never needed to be raised in a group setting. Erika Jayne also expressed doubt, asking what kind of response Amanda expected. “I definitely wouldn’t want to get close to someone after that,” she said.
Sutton acting confused about why anyone cares that Avi got fired. Girl, your youngest just turned 18 – that's the end of $50K a month in child support – and then you shut down the store and let your assistant go. Of course there are questions. #RHOBH pic.twitter.com/eqlREzxFyW

Dorit Kemsley admitted she had questions but chose not to press further in the moment. Ultimately, Sutton said she remains unconvinced the comment was ever made. “It doesn’t sound like Avi,” she said. “It doesn’t make sense, and honestly, I don’t care enough to overthink it.”
