Former adult film actress Stormy Daniels has broken her silence following the news that Donald Trump has been indicted.
Her attorney, Clark Brewster, spoke to her hours after the indictment. In an interview with USA Today, the attorney said they were both “sad” to see Trump get indicted.
“The fact is that she feels bad that the guy has been charged,” he told the outlet. “But on the other hand, truly, she knew what the facts were and she wants him to deal with the truth as well. So from that perspective, there’s a degree of feeling like the system is working.”
Stormy was allegedly paid $130,000 to try to prevent her from sharing her story about an alleged intimate occasion Trump. Trump is reportedly facing 24 counts but the charges are yet to be revealed to the public. Trump has always denied the charges against him and his legal team said they will continue to fight.
