Steve Harvey Rips Diddy Over Cassie Hotel Video!

Lyndon Abioye |

Steve Harvey says the lesson young men should take from Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal drama.

The comedian and longtime television host spoke about Diddy during a recent One on One with Kris Fade interview, where he discussed respect, accountability, and how men treat women.

“He’s in prison right now,” Harvey said. “He was old enough to really get it together, but he didn’t.”

Harvey said men must build better habits before success gives them power without discipline. “You have to practice acts of kindness,” he said. “You’ve got to be a gentleman through it all.”

He also addressed the 2016 surveillance video that showed Diddy dragging and kicking Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway while she was trying to flee from him. Harvey said his first reaction was shock.

“When that video came out, you sitting going, ‘Wait a minute. Hold on, man. What you doing?’” he said.

Harvey said the footage changed the way many people viewed Diddy. “That’s the one that’s out in the public in front of the elevator,” he said. “My goodness, what’s been going on when you ain’t in front of the elevator?”

Diddy is now serving 50 months in a New Jersey federal facility after a conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution under the Mann Act.

Harvey said he had been invited to Diddy’s parties over the years but stayed away. “I ain’t at nobody’s party,” he said. “Steve Harvey going home.”

Diddy has always denied the allegations against him and is currently appealing his prison sentence.
