Stephen A. Smith voted for Vice President Kamala Harris in the November election but is now having buyer’s remorse.
Speaking to Dave Rubin, he claimed that he only voted for Harris out of guilt.
“When you hear people talking about practical, practical things, and then I saw folks on the left basically trying to guilt me into voting for you, you know, it bothered me,” he said. “I might have ended up voting for Kamala Harris because I didn’t like how Trump acts, but what I didn’t do was call him a racist. I didn’t call him a Nazi.”
Smith says that he has talked with Trump many times over the years and that he knew many things being said about him in the media weren’t true.
Smith says that even though he did not vote for the president-elect, he is glad that Trump won the election.
Trump’s inauguration takes place on Monday, January 20th.
