Stephanie Pratt Calls Spencer Pratt “Unqualified” for LA Mayor

Stephanie Pratt is not holding back when it comes to her brother’s political ambitions.

The former reality star spoke out after Spencer Pratt announced his bid for mayor of Los Angeles, making it clear she does not support the move.

Stephanie, who rose to fame alongside Spencer on The Hills, and later starred in the UK reality show Made in Chelsea, questioned his readiness for the role and suggested his campaign is driven by personal motives rather than public service.

“Los Angeles does not need another unqualified and inexperienced mayor,” she said, adding that she believes Spencer is chasing attention.

She also cited his recent memoir, arguing that the campaign feels self-promoting. “I have no problem with him helping locally,” she added, “but not running a city with four million people.”

Stephanie acknowledged that Spencer has been active in the Pacific Palisades community following last year’s devastating wildfire, which destroyed his family’s home, but said the scale of Los Angeles demands far more experience. “Our city needs help,” she said. “This is not a game.”

The siblings’ strained relationship has long been public, dating back to their time on MTV alongside Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad.

“I will always side with the people who were hurt,” Stephanie added.
