NFL player Stefon Diggs, who is dating rapper Cardi B, is facing a lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend, Mulan Hernandez, over an alleged assault.
Hernandez, 24, filed a counterclaim in Texas on April 7, 2025, following Diggs’ earlier lawsuit against her. She denies assaulting him and instead accuses Diggs, 31, of physically attacking her and later attempting to silence her through a nondisclosure agreement.
According to Hernandez’s filing, the alleged incident took place on June 7, 2024, when Diggs allegedly struck her in the back of the head. She claims that soon after, Diggs flew his assistant to Houston to pressure her into signing an NDA to conceal the event from the NFL and the public.
Hernandez says she was diagnosed with a concussion the same day and is now seeking between $250,000 and $1 million in damages for pain, suffering, and medical expenses.
Diggs’ February 2025 lawsuit accuses Hernandez and another woman, Brianna Mack, of assault, trespassing, emotional distress, and attempted extortion. Diggs alleges that Hernandez, intoxicated and angry, damaged his property, including a $130,000 watch, attacked him, and lied about abuse claims after he refused to pay money. He insists any contact with her was in self-defense and denies ever striking her.
Both lawsuits are ongoing, with each side accusing the other of violence and manipulation.
