Southern Charm star JT Thomas has opened up about publicly resigning from the Bravo series last year.
JT has been having a hard time on the show, and after falling out with his last remaining ally, Venita Aspen, he unceremoniously quit.
“I wanted to apologize because I made a public resignation from a really special opportunity, and I let down a lot of people who worked really hard,” JT said in a video posted to YouTube.
He continued, “It was bad form to resign like that, and I will be at the reunion. I just wanted to say that I’m sorry to my cast mates. It might sound weird after an episode like that to apologize, but it’s just not a good look. Bad form, and that’s not how I was raised, and that’s not what the fans want.”
JT said that after sitting and talking with the network, he eventually continued with the show and attended the reunion. He believes it was the right thing to do and feels good about his decision to follow through.
