Now that Southern Charm star Craig Conover’s relationship with Summer House star Paige DeSorbo has ended, viewers of the show want to know whether he’s considering returning to his ex-girlfriend, Naomie Olindo.
Naomie was Craig’s most serious relationship on the show before Paige, and even after they split, Naomie tried at one point to rekindle their romance but was shut down by Craig, who was very much in love with Paige at the time.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, Craig shut down any possibility of a reunion.
“No. No. She’s, um, a sweetheart, and I wish her the best. The thing with me, is once a chapter’s closed, well, I don’t like to make definitive statements, [but] I wish Naomie the best,” he said. “I’m just moving forward in my life and meeting new people.”
Fans of the show were surprised by the breakup as Craig seemed focused on walking down the aisle with Paige.
In the Tamron Hall Show, Craig called the breakup a “blessing.” The couple’s long-distance relationship eventually took its toll.
“We accomplished so much in three years. We’re both in different places,” he said. “She has so to look forward to in her career. I would have ended up losing myself because I would have given up everything to stay with her. So the blessing is, as we’re a couple months out, I see that now.”
