Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga may be projecting peace, but sources say the calm between the longtime rivals could be short-lived.
Fans of Real Housewives of New Jersey recently watched Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga appear to soften years of tension. Behind the scenes, insiders claim the reconciliation came with strings attached. According to one source, Teresa’s husband, Luis Ruelas, encouraged the truce as casting conversations for the show shifted.
“They were panicking,” the insider said, alleging the outreach began once rumors circulated that Melissa, Joe Gorga, and other cast members were involved in test filming while Teresa was not.
Teresa previously acknowledged Luis’ influence on her podcast, saying he was the “driver behind” her efforts to make peace. Still, sources say her true feelings have not changed. Another insider claimed the OG repeatedly contacted potential cast member Michelle Barone, even offering to sit down with longtime foe Margaret Josephs.
“Marge wasn’t interested,” the source said, adding that the fragile reconcillation could collapse at any moment. As one insider put it, “This peace is strategic, not emotional.”
