After facing another lawsuit, Soulja Boy claims he will no longer work with producers.
“My album “Soulja Season” was taken off DSPs because of a copyright claim from a producer I purchased the beat from 100% this is the third time this happened,” he tweeted.
“First ‘Biggest Opp’ then ‘BigDraco3’ This may be my last time working with producers. They messing it for all producers!” he added.
The rapper has been battling other legal issues.
A judge found the rapper liable for an alleged assault against his ex-girlfriend Kayla Myers. She was awarded almost $500,000 after she proved to a judge that he bashed her head with a gun at a 2019 house party. In court, he claimed he is broke. According to Soulja, he rents a home in Los Angeles for $25k per month, doesn’t own any real property but has a car collection. The vehicles were worth around $600k when he purchased them. The rapper says his jewelry collection is worth just $18,000.
