Soulja Boy went off on Elon Musk over his acquisition of Twitter and following changes he made to the platform.
Soulja is not happy that anyone can pay for a blue check.
“Now u can just pay to be verified? Twitter has been destroyed,. Bro leave twitter alone @elonmusk wtf are you doing,” he tweeted.
“Wow… I can’t believe this. F-ck it I’m going to create my own app,” Soulja Boy added. “Bye twitter [Peace sign finger emoji] catch me on instagram until my app launches.”
Musk said he was working “at the absolute most amount…from morning til night, seven days a week” when asked about his recent acquisition of Twitter at the G20 Summit in Bali. “I have too much work on my plate that is for sure.”
There have been a lot of complaints since he purchased the app and many people have left the platform since his takeover. Twitter users can easily see who has paid for their blue check by clicking on it to see who is a verified public figure and who purchased the blue check using Twitter Blue.
