Slim Thug has also weighed in on En Vogue singer Dawn Robinson’s bombshell claims that she has been homeless for three years and living out of her car.

“Never should she do that. Look at the hits she made,” the Houston rapper said on social media. “Off them hits, she should still be getting enough money to pay some rent around this b—h. I get a monthly check, every month. If them people [En Vogue] owned their s–t, they would be able to pay for something with their check.”

This week, Robinson said that even though she’s homeless, she still managed to hold on to a personal assistant but that fame isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

“People see the fame and assume everything is perfect,” she continued. “But behind the scenes, there are struggles that many aren’t aware of.”

Robinson rose to fame in the early 1990s with En Vogue, contributing to hits like Hold On, My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It), and Don’t Let Go (Love). Robinson left En Vogue in 1997 to pursue a solo career and dropped her debut album in 2002. She also joined Lucy Pearl, a supergroup with Raphael Saadiq and Ali Shaheed Muhammad which released a successful self-titled album in 2000.
