A Chicago jury found six alleged members of the O Block gang guilty of gunning down drill rapper FBG Duck.
FBG Duck was shot and killed while he was shopping for his son along the Oak Street on Aug. 4, 2020.
“When I go home and tell my grandkids that their father(’s) justice has been served, that’s going to be a big burden lifted off my shoulders,” Mama Duck told reporters. “I just want to thank the United States government for doing a very good job in making sure that these guys will never hurt another mom and another child again.”

In October 2021, five men were charged in connection with Duck’s murder. Charles Liggins, also known as “C Murda,” Kenneth Roberson, also known as “Kenny” and “Kenny Mac,” Tacarlos Offerd, also known as “Los,” Christopher Thomas, also known as “C Thang,” and Marcus Smart, also known as “Muwop,” are charged with murder in aid of racketeering and federal firearm violations and assaults in aid of racketeering. Ralph Turpin was also charged.
