‘Sister Wives’ Star Kody Brown Says He Considered Leaving Wife Robyn

Sister Wives star Kody Brown revealed that he thought about leaving his only remaining wife, Robyn Brown, at the height of his marital drama.

Kody was once husband to four wives until Christine Brown, Janelle Brown and Meri Brown all decided to leave.

During Sunday’s episode of the show, Robyn asked Kody about his feelings about potentially re-entering a polygamous relationship in the future.

Kody claimed that he felt that he’d been  “slapped by polygamy.”

“It’s hard not to be bitter about the fact that I bought off on it and did it because in the end, in the last moments of it, it felt terrible,” he continued. “I’m like, literally bitter sometimes.”

Kody then admitted that he’d considered leaving Robyn.

“Because I’ve been in plural marriage for so long and it was a sole focus of marriage for me, when we failed at it, I was sabotaging myself. There were days unfair to Robyn that I thought about just walking away from our relationship, too. And that was just because I was so broken, I became self-destructive,” he continued.

Robyn seems to be open to welcoming more sister wives to the marriage, while Kody seems content the way they are.
