Simon Guobadia is speaking out about his divorce from Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams and says that he regrets marrying the reality star.
After being held for weeks in ICE detention, Simon was deported back to Nigeria. Simon had been living in the United States for years but had issues with immigration over past fraud convictions. It was only after ICE caught up with Porsha that she filed for divorce, but Simon is still confused about her actions.
“I kept asking, ‘Why did you file for a divorce?’ And she wouldn’t say anything,” he said of Porsha, who he believes targeted him “for financial reasons. […] This felt like a coup. … I was totally blindsided,” he continued, adding that he could not get in touch with her family members either.

Simon says that the beauty slid into his DMs after he filed for divorce from his previous wife, Falynn Pina, and they were engaged within 30 days. He admits he was vulnerable at this time.
Simon is now forced to pay her “$40,000 a month in alimony for the length of the marriage, which was 14 months,” Simon tells us of the $560,000 total.”
“She gets to stay in the [marital] house [in Atlanta] — all expenses paid, including the mortgage — for up to 36 months. And if she chooses to own the home, she would have to refinance the property in her name and give me 50% equity in the home,” he adds.
Simon says that he’s always honored his past, prenuptial agreements but plans to appeal this one.
