Friends of Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador are worried about her mental health after she was arrested for a DUI hit and run last month.
“Everyone in Newport knows,” a source told Radar Online.
The insider added that Shannon used to be out nearly every night, and now, her inner circle is worried she may be “depressed,” saying she’s “not happy” since moving into a condo. Her 18-year-old twins, Stella and Adeline, left town for college.

“Hopefully, this is a wake-up call,” the source continued, adding that the DUI was “rock bottom” for the reality star.
Reports state that Shannon was “arrested at 1:17 a.m. on Sept. 17 after fleeing the scene from a collision that caused property damage,” according to the Newport Beach Police Department, where she was “booked for two misdemeanors — hit-and-run and DUI alcohol. She was released on a citation.”
After the accident, she reportedly parked her vehicle in the middle of the street and pretended to walk her dog. Her car was seized as evidence. She has expressed remorse for her actions.
