Shannon Beador is denying claims that she mistreated Bravo staffers and fellow personalities, insisting she was misunderstood during one of the hardest seasons of her life.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star, 62, addressed the accusations on the July 23 episode of Jamie Kennedy’s Hate to Break It to Ya podcast after former producer Patrick McDonald accused her of “losing her s–t, yelling, screaming, [and] cussing” at crew members.
“There’s a producer who worked one season on our show, and it was season 18, which is when I had to film with Alexis Bellino,” Shannon said. “I was very withdrawn then. It was a very difficult season for me.”
Shannon denied treating Patrick poorly, claiming she once cooked for him and sent him home with food.
“No, mister, I cooked you dinner and sent you home with a to-go pack,” she said.
She also disputed Southern Charm star Rodrigo Reyes’ claim that she was rude to him at BravoCon, saying her daughter Sophie was by her side and did not remember seeing him.
“I don’t even know who this kid is,” Shannon said.
Still, she later apologized on Watch What Happens Live.
“I’m sorry, Rodrigo,” she said. “Let’s make up.”
