Shamea Morton Says Porsha Williams Took “Happy Pride” the Wrong Way!

Shamea Morton says she still does not understand why her “Happy Pride” comment to Porsha Williams became such a major issue on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

During a recent appearance on Way Up With Yee, Shamea said the remark was not intended as an insult.

“Well, you know, she already said [‘Happy Pride’],” Shamea said, referring to previous claims involving Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker. “I didn’t think it was a diss, me saying, ‘Happy Pride.’” Shamea added, “Aren’t you in a relationship with Sway? I’m just so confused, like, why was that a diss? It was a safe thing to say. We ain’t friends right now.”

The singer and actress said she did not expect her fallout with Porsha to affect the rest of the group.

“Like, now you can’t be friends with me?” she said.

According to Shamea, she and Porsha had once agreed to keep their mothers out of their issues, but the divide has grown more personal.

“Now our kids can’t even play together,” she said. “It’s unfortunate.”

The Bravo star also discussed her clashes with Cynthia Bailey, Angela Oakley and Drew Sidora. She accused Angela of acting differently when cameras are rolling and said Drew came into a Pinky Cole audition with a dismissive attitude.

“She came in very nasty,” Shamea said, adding that not everything made it to air.
