Shamea Morton Apologizes to ‘RHOA’ S16 Cast… “I Hope That We Can Start Fresh”

Following a disastrous reunion, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Shamea Morton has issued a public apology to her fellow castmates.

During the first and second parts of the reunion, Shamea was pressed by the other Housewives for her behavior on the show and was called out on several instances of lying.

Shamea attempted to explain her side of the story in a YouTube video that lasted just over 41 minutes, including a guest appearance from her mother.

“Okay. Well, guys, with that being said, my elders and my family they never steered me wrong. So, I just want to start by saying to all the ladies on [the] Sweet 16 cast,” her apology began.

She continued, “Starting with Porsha, you know, Drew, Angela, Brett, Kenya, Cynthia, Kelly. I’m sorry. If I missed anybody, I’m sorry,” she said before also adding Phaedra Parks to her apology. “Sorry if I’ve ever offended you, if I’ve made you feel less than, inferior. If I insulted you, hurt you in any way, I’m sorry. And I hope that we can start fresh. I wish you nothing but the best and that prayer I hope it leaves this
room and enters into your heart and your household. And that’s a wrap on sweet 16.”

The reunion revealed that Shamea and Porsha’s friendship may be over for good, after Porsha accused Shamea of smearing her not only to the public and on the show, but to one of their tight-knit friend groups off-camera.

Some of the viewers believe that this is Shamea’s way of announcing her exit from the show, while others urged her to stick around for one more season to show her true self.
