In Sunday’s episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, viewers were surprised to see Porsha Williams’ less-than-supportive response to her longtime best friend’s intimate premiere of her new single.
As Shamea played the track, Porsha claimed she did not know it was Shamea on the track, assuming it was Drew Sidora’s. When Shamea seemed confused, as Porsha has been hearing her sing for years, she doubled down, noting that her bestie sounds a lot like Drew on the RL-produced track.

Shamea hopped on social media to reveal that she felt hurt and disrespected by people “talking over” her song.
“That was hurtful. Especially seeing as though Porsha is a good friend of mine and I would’ve thought she…you know, would’ve at least let people hear the song,” she said on a recent video posted to YouTube.
Shamea then questioned why she would be playing Drew’s song when she’s been singing “since she’s been able to talk.”
In the comments section, fans accused Porsha of not wanting her best friend to shine and of becoming a “hater.”
Last month, former Atlanta Housewife Kandi Burruss also revealed the pair’s longtime friendship had suffered since Shamea received her peach.
“I’m gonna be honest: What I think is [Porsha and Shamea] had some issues during the season,” Kandi said on Amazon Live stream. “And they really don’t mess with each other right now.”
