Shakur Stevenson claims his deal to fight Devin Haney at 144 pounds is already signed, contradicting Bill Haney’s public call for the agreement to be completed.
The boxer responded directly on X after Devin’s father and manager said his son would not make any concessions first and called for a signed contract.
“Stop it. My part been signed. U see who I’m wit,” Stevenson wrote.
Stevenson then pressed Haney’s camp to choose an opponent, arguing that delaying a decision would not change the available options.
“Trolling can only last so long,” he wrote. “It’s either me or Key lose-lose either way now make y’all decision, he said, referring to Keyshawn Davis, Devin’s mandatory challenger for the WBO welterweight title.
yesterday @ShakurStevenson stated he has inside information that Devin Haney is now ‘committed’ to vacating the belt for Keyshawn Davis.

Bill has repeatedly named Davis as a possible alternative if a fight with Stevenson cannot be finalized.
The title has become a major part of the negotiations. Bill has said Devin will not vacate his WBO championship before an agreement is reached, while Stevenson did not mention that condition when signing on his side.
Bill has also said Devin Haney Promotions will move on if the two camps cannot settle the remaining details.
Stevenson and Davis have long said they do not want to face each other, so fans are skeptical that the match will ever happen.
