The cast of Shahs Of Sunset has not turned their backs on Mike Shouhed after he was arrested for alleged domestic violence.
“It’s really hard to speak on those headlines, but we’re not excommunicating him from our lives,” Mercedes “MJ” Javid told Page Six. “We just have to hope that they heal from it.”
“I’m always going to love Mike and I have mad love and unending love and respect for his family, his brothers, his mom and dad, his whole family — and Paulina.”
The LAPD confirmed in April that was arrested for “intimate partner violence with injury,” and that his alleged victim had a “visible injury.”
Shouhed was booked around 1:05 a.m. local time on March 28 and the reality star was charged with corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, which is a felony, per the sheriff’s department and released on $50,000 bond.
“My own investigation reveals no acts of domestic violence was committed by my client,” said Mike Kessel to PEOPLE. “I have no doubt Mike will be exonerated. Please honor the presumption of innocence.”
