Sexyy Red has canceled several upcoming tour dates amid reports that ticket sales have been low.
Her “Sexyy Red 4 President,” was set to kick off on August 22nd in Seattle at WAMU Theater but this date has now been axed as well as her shows in Portland on August 23 and Oakland on August 26.
In July, it was reported that just 37.11 percent of her tickets had been sold and that she may be scrapping the tour altogether.
The St. Louis rapper quickly hopped on X to shoot down the reports.
She then accused her old promoters of spreading a false narrative.
“Dis how Dey try to do u wen u go wit an independent promoter n the bigger companies try to sabotage u we not cancelling sht,” she wrote in a follow up tweet.
“I did my touring deal with a black promoter black owned company AG Entertainment and now Dey playin dirty paying pages spreading fake news to discourage my fans from buying tickets, she added.
