Sexyy Red claims more than $500,000 in jewelry, watches, and designer handbags were stolen from a Florida mansion after her security team forgot to lock the door.
The rapper made the allegation in a countersuit against security guard Carl Thompson, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ. The filing says Sexyy Red rented the mansion in January 2025 for a birthday retreat honoring her mother and hired security to protect the property during the family gathering.
According to the suit, a masked person entered the home through an unlocked door on Jan. 12 and stole necklaces, charms, rings, bracelets, watches, and designer bags worth “no less than $500K.” Sexyy Red claims police investigated and determined that a door had been left unlocked, that Thompson and his security team were responsible for securing the mansion, and that Thompson was the last person to leave before the burglary.

The countersuit follows Thompson’s August 2025 lawsuit against Sexyy Red and members of her team. He claimed he was hired in May 2023 as her “personal security guard” for $180,000 per year and worked for her until December 2024. Thompson says he was paid $204,000 but believes he was owed $285,000.
Sexyy Red denies underpaying him and is now seeking more than $500,000 in damages.
