Sexyy Red addressed one of the conspiracies floating around social media about her rise to success.
On X, a fan shared their thoughts about the rapper’s career.
“I don’t like Sexyy Red and it has nothing to do with respectability politics. Her entire brand is degeneracy. It’s not owning her sexuality like Megan nor does it offer authenticity like Glorilla. She gives me CIA vibes,” the X user wrote.

Sexyy saw the post and responded to the conspiracy theory by replying, “Fawk u btch.”
The user doubled down on her original tweet.
“Her songs sound like the satirical songs you hear on The Boondocks. I refuse to believe she’s not a plant,” they wrote, adding, “Her whole act is minstrelsy and I wish people would stop giving her space.”
Sexyy Red was recently named no.2 in Billboard’s Hottest Female Rappers list, above Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat and Ice Spice. Her latest album, In Sexyy We Trust sold 27,000 equivalent units in it’s first week debuting at the no. 17 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
